About us
I moved to the U.S. years ago with a suitcase, little English, and a big dream. Through food and storytelling, I started sharing where I come from and realized something simple: people don't just want Italian food — they want real Sicily.
The idea is simple: if you want to visit Sicily, you don't need to fly there — you can visit Sicily right here in New York City. That's where the name comes from.
I've been working in a bakery my whole life. I started when I was very young, in the basement, learning how to make bread and traditional Sicilian food the old way — early mornings, flour on my hands, and respect for the craft.
Together, we bring to New York the food we grew up with: simple, handmade, and full of meaning.
That's why we created Visit Sicily NYC.
Visit Sicily NYC is not just a bakery. It's a place for people who love real food, real stories, and real Sicily.
